Established in 2003, Sharp & Tappin operates from its purpose-built premises in Holsworthy, Devon, where it promotes ‘Great British Engineering’.

With four sub-brands to our name – Compcut, Marine Technologies, Solar Technologies and our Engineering Solutions division – we have been involved in an array of innovative, high profile projects for over a decade now.  We are well known in the UK and internationally for pushing boundaries and offering high-tech solutions with an environmental edge.

The following highlights some of these milestones, ranging from engineering featured on the BBC’s ‘Top Gear’, providing marine computers for a round the world yacht race, developing hi-tech camera systems, through to developing ground breaking robotic technology and an internationally acclaimed advanced composite saw.
